- Background: Retired as Manager, Government Relations, United States Postal Service. In retirement, John became intrigued with the art and science of winemaking and began working at Virginia wineries. John currently handles all of Rappahannock Cellars’ off site events. This includes shop tastings, wine dinners, festivals and private parties. He also produces sixty-five cases of wine annually in his home wine cellar.
